Hold a Hand
Holdahand is bringing together over 64.000 people from across the UK to create a huge freeform artwork. Each person or group will be given a Hand of their own, which they can keep for a year, and use in any way they like to express themselves.
Some Hands are travelling the world, with photographs being sent back as evidence; some are being decorated; some are being collected together and built into sculptures. You can do what ever you like with the Hand as long it is returned at the end of the year.
In addition to the gallery exhibition, Hand adopters can display work on the MySpace or Facebook accounts and can upload photographs to this site via the Exhibit page. Proud adopters are asked to register their new Hands and keep an eye on the blog for new ideas and notification of Hand events in your area.
